What's the child-to-caregiver ratio?
Per guidelines provided by the DCF

Is there always someone present who’s been trained in pediatric first aid and CPR?
Yes, all staff members will be CPR certified, and Directors are both nurses.
Is there a clear, written plan to follow if a child is injured, sick, or lost?
Yes, there is a policy written if a child is injured, sick or lost. Please see parent handbook
What are your operational hours?
Open Monday 6 am and close on Saturday 6am
Are children always supervised...even when sleeping?
During nap time, childcare personnel must be within sight and hearing of all the children. All other childcare personnel required to meet the staff-to-child ratio must be within the building on the same floor and available to be summoned if needed to ensure the safety of the children.
Are you 24-hour childcare?
Yes, we are 24-hour care Monday 6am to Saturday 6am
Are parental visits allowed and encouraged?
Parents are encouraged to visit. If it is greater than 30 minutes, a visitor pass must be granted prior to the entrance.
Where do the children sleep?
During nap time, the child sleeps on a cot. During nighttime, the child sleeps on a sleeping mats 2in thick per Florida Department of Children family Services policy.
What's the plan for responding to hurricanes?
If the city Public Schools are closed for the day due to inclement weather, Chery ChildCare Center may or may not also close. Parents are advised to call the center prior to dropping of their children. If the city Public School is dismissing early due to a hurricane, parents are required to come as quickly and safely as possible to pick up their children.
